The Oxford Hotel is a historic landmark and one of Denver’s most iconic and prestigous hotels. This hotel has been serving guests since it opened in 1891 and is known for its elegant Victorian-style architecture and its position as the oldest continuously operating hotel in the city.

MDP performed a Boiler Retrofit, consisting of the replacement of two existing 4,250 MBH boilers, two 420 MBH water heaters, and three 200 gallon storage tanks. The instantaneous boilers and tankless water weaters provided a flexible and efficient solution to the hotel’s heating and hot water needs while maximizing energy efficiency. The system’s energy efficiency and reliability have had a tangiblle impact on The Oxford Hotel’s operational costs, environmental footprint and sustainability efforts in historic preservation.
